Wordpress's most valuable feature is its built-in content management system or CMS, commonly known as WP Admin.

WP Admin makes website management and web page creation accessible to any user with basic computer skills. That is not so say that WordPress websites aren't complicated, they certainly can be, but WP Admin is light years ahead of the competition and getting better with every update.

WP Admin can be customised in a million different ways and with the right theme and combination of plugins you can have a website that is easy to manage on the backend and good looking on the frontend.

Themes & Plugins

WordPress websites are usually built on a single theme or template which handles the layout of your website, along with a selection of plugins that handle the various functionality a site requires.

There is a massive selection of themes and plugins available, some that are free to use and others that come with a price.

I highly recommend premium themes such as Divi or Enfold when developing a new WordPress website purely for their ability to create beautiful and completely customised websites without ever having to touch code.

Plugins can be a cost-effective way to add nice features to your website such as contact forms, booking systems, image sliders and social networking tools, which could otherwise take a lot of time and money to develop from scratch.

Custom Coding

WordPress is built on a server-side programming language called PHP. You don't need to know anything about that but I happen to be a professional PHP programmer so creating custom code for your WordPress website is one of my specialities.

I can customise your WordPress installation in any way that you need, from minor design tweaks, to custom forms and modules, to completely custom themes.

I have also worked alongside various design companies and large organisations who require pixel-perfect replications of their PDF or Photoshop designs into their WordPress installations.
